I'm starting to work the requests now...but I realized that after doing 'art boot camp', cramming for AP studio art, I've lost my...err...art..isticness? I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but I can't draw things as easily as I did before.

(Good gods I better get a 5 on the AP exam. That fricking class cost me my magical powers!...Not that I ever had any, haha.)

I'm feeling very...lame right now. Perhaps sleeping too much does that.

This art block (that's the word, right?) IS KILLING ME. I recently got into the Supernatural and House fandoms and I tried drawing fanart for both with my tablet and guess what came out? Crap, crap, and oh look, some decent crap, and then more crap.

Maybe I should take a break. C: -cackle- -has many reasons why to not do things-

Well. I better do some research on Francisco Goya for my SIP and stare at his paintings so more. And then go to the Festival of the Arts at my school and be a dosen...docent?.


WOOT. Just one more painting for studio art and then...no more! I think. I've started to paint one ugly self-portrait, heh.

The assignment was to draw oneself in their jobs 5 years later in the style of one of the artists we studied in our journals. I drew myself in a vaguely abstract/cubist way with swirly cinnamon-esque curls for hair. Yes.

When I grow up, I'm going to be a baker/cinnamon bun. -sagenod-
